Castable Resin Prints

Our castable resin printer produces highly intricate 3d prints with details as small as 10 microns. It is capable of fast turnaround, creating prints in less than 30 minutes, although large pieces will take longer.

The castable resin is optimized for clean and easy burnout for direct casting into metal. We have successfully used it to cast rings and other jewellery items into silver. Not all casting companies cast this material, so please check with your casting company before placing an order.

The advantage over wax is that it can be printed rapidly. Also, as it is more durable than wax, it is less likely to break when sending through the post. Plus, with care taken, it can be tried on before casting.
